  • i used to loved seeing steve landesburg. he appeared in several tv shows and always exhibited a cool, easy going , funny manner.. Not even the FONZ was as cool as him ! :)

  • I impersonate Gregory Peck to get out of doing boring things. Just make fists, and refuse to do something on moral grounds: "I swear, with God as my witness, that have never checked the oil on an automobile, and I never will!"

It gets you out of anything.

"On all that is holy, I swear that I have never loaded a dishwasher, and I never will!"

  • To this day, whenever I see a Gregory Peck movie, I hear "Go Away! Beverly is busy!" in my head. Steve was one great comedian!

  • I think Landesberg had a really masculine voice without sounding like Gregory Peck. The Gregory Peck voice just makes it even more awesome.

  • One of the funniest 2 minutes ever on TV. Lately, I've been listening to "Shift Down", a song Steve co-wrote for Bill Cosby's "..Is Not Himself These Days Rat Own…"LP. And his humor shines through. R.I.P.

  • gr8 dead pan humor

  • Hairstyles in the 1970's were ridiculous. That kid looks like a sheep that needs to be sheered. Man, the shampoo and conditioner bills must have been huge back then.

  • Go away, Beverley is busy.

  • I loved him on Barney Miller. I can just see him saying "in traditional societies..." especially during a bad day when that was the last thing Barney needed to hear.

  • Rest in peace Mr. Landesberg. So dead pan. Perfect Gregory Peck.
