Jet Boat Runs Davis Gulch at Speed

Speed run up Davis Gulch at Lake Powell...just over 3 minutes from start to finish running approx 38 knots most of the way. FYI, yes, we did confirm the canyon was empty before running it. ;-)
It's a wide angle GoPro camera we're filming with...one looking forward about a foot off the water and one looking back about 3 feet off the water.
Later in the video, the canyon is around 25 feet wide at a number of spots. Near the end, check out the rear-facing shot and see how close we really are to the canyon walls.
The boat, "Wild Honey", is a 24 foot North River aluminum boat with 351 inboard and jet pump.

This is the most awesome run I have ever seen. The pilot of this jet boat really knows his stuff. I think I know him, isn't that WARHAWK, Mike Shipp. , he is one crazy fool to try this stunt. Looking forward to seeing him in more videos. I have been to Lake Powell before but never from that speed in Davis Gulch A-A-A-W-W-W-E-E-S-S-S-O-O-O-M-M-M-E-E-E- Mike

Wow... that is some good scenery. Kinda makes me want a boat, not like we have nyhting like that in south louisiana
