Pushing Me Away (A Jonas Story) Ch.17

"I'm gonna miss you guys so much!" Today was the fateful day, the last chance for Bella to back out of the deal, the day the brothers went on tour.

Mariel: text us whenever you're bored.
Val: And if anything goes wrong, we'll fly out ASAP.
Bella: I love you guys ! *tears up and hugs them again* You guys have to fly out for a concert ohkay?
Kevin&Joe: YEAH ! *blushes*

As Bella said goodbye to the rest of her family, Nick's cellphone rang. He waved goodbye to Bella's family, gave Jenna to Joe, who was sleeping in Nick's arms, and went inside the bus to take the call.
Nick: Hey Demi!
Hope: Baby, it's not Demi. It's me!
Nick: Oh, sorry babe. Demi is coming on tour with us so I thought it was her checking in on us. and I still haven't changed your names in my address book yet. How are you?
Hope: Great. So I have good news and bad news. Which one do you wanna hear first?
Nick: Bad.
Hope: Well, I'm still gonna be in Japan while you're on tour, so I won't be able to come to the concerts.
Nick: But I already knew that babe.
Hope: But it leads to the good news. Ready?
Nick: *sarcastic* My heart's literally beating out my chest. *laughs* Tell me.
Hope: The company doesn't want me to go to China anymore. Which means I'm gonna be coming on tour with you for the last half of the tour!
Nick: WHAT?! That's so cool! *thinks a little bit* WAIT?! What did you just say?!
Hope: I thought you'd be excited about it. What's the matter?
Nick: Uh.. Nothing. Just a lil.. Tired. I think they're calling me to help put stuff on the bus so I'll call you back k? bye *hangs up*
Hope: Okay I love... hello? Nick? You still there? *puts phone down* that's strange, he always says I love you before he gets off.

Nick lays face first on the couch. "Omg I'm screwed. BEYOND screwed. I can't have my girlfriend know that I have a girlfriend! Crap, why does this have to happen to ME!"

Bella: What are you babbling about curly?
Nick: Moe, leave me alone.
Bella: Fine. Just came inside to tell you that Val, Mariel, and my family wanna say bye to you before we leave.
Nick: I'll be there in a minute.
Bella: Ohkay. *leaves*
Nick: Maybe I should talk to Bella about it. She'll come up with a solution to all this. She always does. It's like... her thing. Ugh, my life can suck and be awesome at the same time. Whoop - de - doo.

After a week passes with the boys having been rocking out on stage with Bella backstage, Bella goes to the Nickelodeon lot to shoot her scenes on Zoey 101 and iCarly. The iCarly days were awesome. Bella made friends with everyone. But on Zoey 101, the atmosphere was slightly different. Little did Bella know, Nick was going to surprise her at set that day.

Mark: Hi Bella. I'm Mark, the director / writer of this episode. Nice to meet you. Heard a lot of good things about you.
Bella: Why thank you. Is today rehearsal? Because no one sent me a script and I have absolutely no idea who my character is. *laughs*
Mark: That won't be a problem. We just realized we didn't send a copy to Kim for you, so today we're doing the most simple scenes with you only saying one or two lines.
Bella: Alright, that sounds good. What scene are we starting with first?
Mark: *looks at clipboard* the kissing scene.
Bella: um. Excuse me?! Who is my character exactly?
Mark: Your character is Chase's best friend that visits PCA and has a crush on Chase, even though he's with Zoey. So in the last scene you're in, you pin Chase down on his bed and kiss him, only to realize that you two have no feelings for each other. Catch my drift of where I'm trying to go with it?
Bella: Yeah, I just didn't know there would be a kiss.
Mark: Are you uncomfortable with it?
Bella: Umm, no, I think I'll be fine. Probably after I meet the actor that plays Chase. What's his name?
Mark: *smiles* it's Sean. He's a cool guy.
Bella: Where would he be right now?
Mark: Well it's ten right now, so he's in the makeup trailer. You have to be there too. I'll have one of my assistants show you where.
Bella: Thanks. See you later.

Bella goes to the trailer and gets her makeup done. Sean was there, but didn't seem like he'd wanna talk to her so she didn't wanna seem annoying and backed off. When Bella went off to rehearse her lines, Sean went to Jaime's trailer.
Sean: Jaime! You'll never guess what happened!
Jaime: What's up?
Sean: The girl that's playing Sam is Bella Santos! I get to kiss that smoking hot chick!
Jaime: Aww, she seems cool. Did you meet her yet?
Sean: I met her in the makeup trailer but I was too shocked and nervous to make a conversation. But I will forsure after the kiss in half an hour. *laughs*

Meanwhile... Nick is driving over to the studio.
Nick: I hope Bella appreciates this. I gotta keep up the boyfriend image and go watch her shoot her scenes while I could be sleeping.

Uh Oh! Looks like Nick is in for the surprise instead! Watch out for the next Pushing Me Away! Love, Maria
