Katniss is a 16-year-old girl living with her mother and younger sister in the poorest district of Panem, the remains of what used be the United States. Long ago the districts waged war on the Capitol and were defeated. As part of the surrender terms, each district agreed to send one boy and one girl to appear in an annual televised event called, "The Hunger Games." The terrain, rules, and level of audience participation may change but one thing is constant: kill or be killed. When Kat's sister is chosen by lottery, Kat steps up to go in her place.

there is one nude part in catching fire I think when clove in the second HG Katness and Peeta are in when she just takes off her coustume xD also in the first book when last years tributes only ware coal dust e.o xD

THIS BOOOK has so many secrets,,and its deep down the rabbit hole,, look at the capitol for example,, its in COLORADO!! just like we know today that this is the new DC is going to BE! soo,, this book is telling U whats gonna happen after SHTF! and TPTB! its all here written in 2008 WOW how did she KNOW? this is some good reading tho,,i dont even read books that much,, i wait for the video
