  • Thank you for putting up this great video..one of my favorite groups..the song is timeless and the moves..so doo wop

  • You are most welcome!!

glad your enjoying this video of my buddy's !

  • jusme714- it was great bass Charles Moffitt who was murdered when he got home to Brooklyn after a New Jersey show in Nov. 1986. I was @the show- not known if a random robbery or a "hit."

  • This group is named after charles moffitt.

(THE CHARLES MOFFITT VELOURS)WHO IN MY OPINION ARE THE ONLY AND BEST VELOURS GROUP OUT THERE.

WHAT EVER IS LEFT OF THE ORIGINAL GROUP ARE NOT ABLE TO REPLICATE THE ORIGINAL RECORDINGS.LIKE THIS GROUP..JUST CLOSE YOUR EYES,AND LISTEN.

BTW CHARLES WAS BRUTALLY STABBED IN THE ELEVATOR OF THE BUILDING HE LIVED IN,A VICTIM OF A RANDOM ROBBERY..

Other guys on the road with the Fantastics were Johnny Maltby Aidrien Jeffries, Dave Roberts but to name a few.Take care and stay in touch.

  • @malonebash thanks

  • @SiroccoBW thanks for that. my father was the guitarist in the orange rainbow, mel day. we are not in contact but i know that he and jerry were good friends but he has not seen him since the mid 70's. all i know now is that jerry is living in new york. if i find out anything more i will let you know.

  • @rantantara Hi I worked with the Fantastics as their roadie in 1972 when they were UK based. Backing band were the Orange Rainbow. Close friends were the Flirtations. The line up then was Jerry, Don John and Adolphus Beale. Can I help in any way / would like to meet them again. Nigel Bellamy Botswana
