just wanted to say thanks for showing this. I am glad to see the front pouch can fit so much, because I am buying the 12" version of this case, and I needed to fit a mouse in the front pouch, and now I see it should be fine.

Yeah, we definitely need to work on the straps, other than that --- that black bottom strap/foam is used to protect your netbook's precious bottom from awkward or straight falls. Your batteries are definitely protect with that foam.
