  • I both drink and smoke and I'm 200% fit. I have to use that.

  • @njdevil281 Excuse me, but how is "economic limitations" different than "stopped giving American oil" (actually, it was selling, not giving)? You are pointing out a difference that is no difference.

  • @Ranillon The US was not imposing "economic limitations" onto the Japanese, the US simply stopped giving American oil to Japan do to its Imperial conquering, which the US as a soveriegn nation had every right to do.

  • Winston is a good figure but, I wouldn't want him watching a movie with me....

  • " I neither drink nor smoke and am one hundred percent." "Well I both drink and smoke and am two hundred percent fit." The ultimate irony in that statement is that Churchill out lived Montgomery.

  • When is this on hbo again? Anybody no

  • The lady that plays 'Clementine' is lovely.

  • lol "ill declare war on japan" LOL! that is when u no you have power, that u can say something like that and then carry it out.

  • @Ranillon ty for confirming what we have all feared, that you have done no reasearch and are spouting the newspaper view. Since you won't reread I shall repeat the Japanese would never have attacked without the Germans agreeing to declare war as they needed the bulk of American resources to be shifted to Europe. I encourage you to do your own reasearch rather then repeat the views of people who have a reason to distort history. The Germans had zero interest in the British Empire ZERO.

  • @12from121 Pearl Harbor happened because the Japanese weren't willing to accept the economic limitations the US was imposing upon them. If the Japanese were all about helping Germany they'd have attacked the USSR when it mattered. Likewise, the idea that Hitler was offering the British peace is at best a technicality -- he was offering "peace" if the UK became a de facto client state. That's surrender, not peace. And, the Brits didn't attack the USSR because the USSR didn't attack them - QED
