If it's painted, mix in some vinegar with the water. It was illegal to use asbestos after 1978. If you don't know for sure, have it tested or use the proper respirator and clothing.

asbestos containing popcorn ceilings were probably used quite a few years after 1978.

@americanallstar78 watch out for asbestos. It was used in popcorn texture

@PndaStyle if your building was built after 1978, it likely does not have asbestos.

I'm getting ready to remove my popcorn ceiling but question I notice as scrape the ceiling their is dark spot what are those and how did fix it?

The big dark spot that you see in most of the video is just paper part of the wallboard material. It may appear darker than normal here because it's damp from being sprayed down with water. The light spots are where mud was applied, tape joints and nail holes.
