hey man its andrew belford, like robbie was saying make sure you dont boost the vocals so much that the other instruments sound blurry, the drums need to be a little louder and clearer, i could barely hear the hi hats, and the snare needs to be much crisper and louder, you cleaned it up really nicely, but the drums need to be clearer for sure and boosted, and the guitar could be a little clearer as well, just my opinion :)

Black I hear ya. It honestly to me just sounds like a little more E.Q. shaping. Things seem to be a good level (but drums) its just some things seem to get masked by the same freq. Like in the first verse the a.c. & the vox seem to cancel each out in the lower freq range. But later in the song when both are going they stand out cause the a.c. is playing bigger chords with broader freq range, see what I'm getting at? If all he's using is Record and no outboard gear then its good! He's got talent!
