Here we see a Bombardier Challenger 850 corporate jet departing Montreal's Pierre Elliot Trudeau International Airport on runway 24L. The Challenger 850 is basically a CRJ-200 regional jet which has been configured as a business jet. The CRJ-200 is no longer produced by Bombardier but sales of the Challenger 850 have been pretty good (at least up until the financial crisis). The Challenger 850 is assembled right at YUL in the long light gray building you see on the other side of the runway.

  • thats my uncle plane

  • Homegrown! The Bombardier traditional nose is still the best. Aggressive, sleek, perfect. I'm glad the CSeries will be retaining much of that look. Can't wait for a fly-by-wire Challenger to come out, they better do it.

  • @YULspotter thanks:D

  • spectacular!
