A slightly tired Geoff shows you the Special Edition version of Espgaluda 2 on the 360. Looks gorgeous and plays amazing. Gameplay is taken from Level 2, I'm playing the novice level black label version of the game.

  • @gmintyfresh I got Deathsmiles cheap from the uk too i love it! Waiting on Ketsui which i paid £44 inc p&p from another uk seller. Muchi Muchi Pork / Pink Sweets next i think then after that onto the DoDonPachi games :)

  • @samxx1x Got the le ordered, I'll have dropped at least £250 on 360 shmups by the end of May, ouch! Yep I'd love to have a 2 player game my gamerscore comes from my love of the machine mate I've played so many games on the system!

  • Yeah, got the invite last week dude, cheers. I'm getting Deathsmiles 2 'n' all, love the original, can't justify the LE this time though. Would get it if money as no object of course. I'll have to give you a game on it when it comes out, assuming it's online.

As for the gamerscore, looks like I have a long way to go to match your total! Shmups don't seem to be the most generous genre when it comes to doling out achievements, that's my excuse anyway.

  • @samxx1x I hear what you say about Deathsmiles 2, but I'm still going to buy it!! Added you mate, very impressive Space Giraffe score mate :D

  • Well, £20 for a faceplate sounds like pretty good value compared to the LE of Deathsmiles 2. Nearly £30 more than the standard and all you get is a CD. Cave must be smoking crack!

Anyway, I don't mind you asking and my Gamertag is Fine Oolong Tea. Not got many points on that account yet though as I had been using a japanese account when I first got my 360. But still, I've got 200/200 for Space Giraffe on it so I'm not too unhappy (probably my finest acheivement in gaming, heh).

  • I know what you mean about the scoring mate, going to have to do some research!! I've worked out some of the bullet cancelling on the some of the modes but it's a bit intense!! Only just found out that the first print came with the CD too, felt a bit cheated that I'd spent an extra £20 on a faceplate and a different cover, sytill I like the package. What's you xbl tag if you don't mind me asking? Ketsui is going to be awesome!!

  • Ha ha yes mate I think it even looks nicer than Deathsmiles!

  • Been playing this for the last week or so. Such a nice game, hopefully one day I'll get the hang of all the different scoring techniques. I'm trying to get past level 3 unscathed at the mo'. The faceplate would have been nice, but I have never been too bothered with shelling out for L.E.s so just got the version with the CD (and besides, I need to save a bit for Ketsui innit).
