  • Thank you so much for sharing these programs with us for free! I am training for duathlon(run/cycle). I have a question. After doing these leg exercise my legs are sore and I can't run or cycle next day, sometimes 2 days. How do you mix leg exercise into your weekly training schedule? Isn't cycling enough for leg strength training?

  • best sprinter in norway: Alexander kristoff is 21years, 81kg and squats 180kg at 3reps!!

  • This is primary muscle building, which helps you gain strength, of course youll have to do the thousand reps too, but thats when youre running...

  • KaseyAkira,

You are a fool. Squats def. help you develop leg, and core muscles-which you use the entire race. Also, the amount of reps develops long lean muscle. Think before you comment!

    Good advice from video

  • 2) Squatting in itself is not sports specific.

    3) You're not a functional training coach. You can call yourself that, sounds fancy, probably helps pick up clients, but you're anything BUT that.

  • 1) When, in a triathlon, are you going to take only 10 or 15 steps? Or work for 10 or 15 seconds? Why then, are you recommending only 10 or 15 reps? Training in this rep range is likely to add muscle size, which would be extra weight to carry through a triathlon. I'm beginning to think you're giving wrong information so your competitors pick up on it.

  • Thanks for the informative video

  • nice vid
