  • where did you happen to get the sidecar from?

also, does it mount in a way that is easily able to disconnect it?

I would like to take some longer trips with my dog on board, but i would also like to have the ability to take the sidecar off when shes not riding along :)

  • Yes it mounts and dismounts easy, like 10 minutes, but all the mounting points have been welded to the frame which took the better part of a weekend. I will use the bike more without the sidecar then with it.

  • You'll need a lot of weight in the Velorex. From the video it looks like the bike is leaning towards the sidecar and should be slightly leaning outwards. Hope you have a little toe in as well

  • That looks good. I am trying to do similar with my XL600 LMF. Did you have to stiffen up your bike at all? Were the settings easy to sort out, for toe in camber etc.

  • Very good job !

  • Looks like you need to carry about 100 lbs of sandbags in sidecar to prevent it from tipping/popping up. soundtrack at end: Love the Nat King Cole intro from Route 66, yeah!

  • well done! I like it...

  • thats fuckin awesome.can you reach highway speeds with that car mounted?

  • cool video! like the car.
