@Whackooyzero What you need to do is read Guitar World's interview with the guys from Chickenfoot, specifically the part where Joe talks about how his guitar doesn't have to do all the heavy lifting so to speak.

as a Satrianite this band was something that Joe decided to be different on. Remember...as a soloist he has to do all guitars, vocal melodic melodies, and then the leads. Not to mention all of the guitar trick stuff. For those criticizing I can see why. We are used to Joe being everything. Here he is the sum of four parts. Four very excellent parts that together make one hell of a band. I can;t say that I hope a new solo album is in the works cause I would love it. But this band kicks ass!!
