It's blatantly and embarrassingly obvious that you have never used or seen a PlayBook in your life. The PB was released in early 2011, and hardware-wise was way ahead of its time. It didn't come with an edge-to-edge display because the four bezels were touch sensitive, and you could swipe between active apps by swiping from the left and right bezels. And the Z10's specs are still on the high end of the spectrum for even today's devices. The iPhone doesn't even have 2GB of RAM yet...

Well said! This was their idea but a marketing company created the series of commercials as a concept design ... it creates buzz, conversation and ideas - i personally see 5 apps I can create and make huge money off of for BB10 that doesn't exist on other platforms!! It also invokes collaboration with potential partners ... but you're ABSOLUTELY right in that BlackBerry needs to put up or run away - and get this happening.

Because Edge to edge display was not possible in smartphones or tablets in 2011 - to be honest it still doesn't exist (thinner edges is not an edge to edge display; its all marketing garbage that you're falling for. After 2 mths you wont care that the display is edge to edge only that it shows more content). Blackberry has an infrastructure for M2M business you'll soon find out. This phone is already here in BB10 & the infrastructure (providers & NOC). Partners, apps services are only required.

You know what RIM lacks innovation... why didn't the playbook came with a edge to edge display?.. Stuffs like that are one of the key points to acquire more customers... Apple does it, HTC (with their 1080p) and even google... What does blackberry brings to the table besides having the same specs as 2011/2012 smartphones (which ironically the phone will be released in 2013)... Now RIM should release something like that before other manufacturers do
