I would like to be able to purchase a bladder without the pumping device. Just a simple squeeze valve or similar.

The problems with hooking it up to your house plumbing include contaminated back flow. Be sure to unhook any other hoses and disconnect yourself from the city water supply. Also you waste a lot of water when the pressure subsides. Several gallons would be left in the pipes with no remedy to flush it out.
