does no one no about the 2nd book?!?!?!?!? Dreadnought is the 3rd book. the order is 1. Boneshaker 2. Clementine 3. Dreadnought 4. Ganymede, its just clementine is shorter, and its by different publisher, but still by Cherie Preist, but i give it a B- or a C+ because it has nothing to do with the zobie or wat not, it is just Captain Croggon Hainey goin after his ship, like he was in the end of Boneshaker
If you haven't jumped into Cherie Priest's "Clockwork Century" series yet, this week is a great time to start at the beginning with "Boneshaker"; it's only $2.99 through Sunday 10/9/11!
Nice review. I found the pacing of Dreadnought to be much improved from Boneshaker. But other than Mercy, most of the former's cast came across as Western stock characters, and not as inherently interesting as Boneshaker's cast.
FYI: "Okay" is actually very appropriate for the time and place Dreadnought is set. The word came into existence somewhere in the American Midwest or Southwest well before the Civil War.
Thanks for the review of the book I think I will jump out and get it! I kinda miss the kinetic reviews, with all of the pictures.
