  • I didn't know the Clarence Walker/Indiana State story until reading about John Wooden's death. Like Coach Wooden, Mr. Walker seems like a remarkable man and that he endured during difficult circumstances and made a positive impact on dismantling segregation.

  • wow, this was an inspirational story, im a white/ Italian American and this was relevant to myself as well as a racewalker for the NAIA.
