Dahoud, a Clifford Brown jazz standard, played acoustically on a D'angelico NYL-2 custom. It has X bracing and an ebony bridge with bone sadles. The strings are D'addario Chromes 12-54 with a 14 gauge e and a 17 gauge b.
I want to hear this guitar with amp! you dig what i am sayin right? thriugh a Polytone,Fender somethin...otherwise it functions like a flat top, not an archtop. might as well grab a Martin, you sound great though regardless.
This is just wonderful...an easy going version of an intense chart.
Just makes me want to relax on the deck with a glass of red wine.
Thank You soooo much from Seattle

What a Christmas present - a new D'Angelico New Yorker. Wow.
I hope santa brings me something like that this Christmas.

I do believe that's what Howard Alden did on "Sweet and Lowdown" only with a Benedetto guitar.
