Earlier today My family and I went to the Ohio lottery's show - "Cash Explosion." It was one of the coolest days of my life seeing that I not only didnt have to go school today, but I got to watch my Aunt who was one of the contestents win a whopping N/A I'm still a little in shock after it all, even though I just got home from it.
Anyway If your watching this vid you might be checking this out because you might of just found out that someone you know just got picked to be a contestent, If so please ask me anything about my experience that could give you information on what you should expect on your trip, I would be happy to awnser any question you might have.
Here is some info now that could help you.
- If your going there to be part of the audience, upon your arrivel you will be givin a complentary lottery ticket and a raffel tickit(for games they play were they hand out prizes or extra tickits to those picked in the raffel) However if your under 18 they just give you the raffel, were you will only get like a shirt or a mug if picked. I did not get a lotto tickit, I'm 16 :(
- If you were picked, you and your family and freinds will stay at nearby hotel, which is only like 3 minutes away from the studio, and yes the hotel is of course payed for.
- Lets say your show films on Wensday like ours did, you will go to the hotel on Tuesday, spend the night, wake up early and then check out before the show films, then you will go to the show after checking out.
- The contestent themselves will be told to arrive like an hour or something before their friends or family do so that person can go through rehearsles back stage before the show.
- When guests arrive after their contestents, what we did before the doors opened, was play games outside with the staff where people could win prizes.
- Dont be intimidated if there is only a small number of people coming with you (if you got picked), earlier today there were like two contestents who only had like two people who went with them, so its no big deal.
- Everybody there was awsome, and I mean everybody! The other guests, the other contestents, the stage crew, the hosts of the show were all awsome! Nobody was meen or nasty to anyone.
- The only thing bad about the whole experience was that the damn winnings tax will lower the amount of money the contestent gets to take home with them, but theres nothing you could do about about that I guess, and who isn't happy about taking home any couple grand?
- Well I hope that helps anyone watching this video, if there is still more stuff you would like to know about it, please ask me anything, I'll be happy to awnser any question you have.

PS: I do not work with or for Ohio Lottery in any way.
I really want to be a contestant on cash explosion because it seems like such a fun time and I would love to walk away with a few thousand bucks

I used to watch that show a lot when I was little, well, at least until we got satellite TV, I live in Morehead Kentucky, and we had NBC's Huntington affiliate (WSAZ) that carried this show, and I haven't seen it in like 7 or 8 years.
