You can't really compare Zenyatta and Rachel's final times. Why? Because Rachel is one of those horses that will crush horses she's much better than, where as Zenyatta only does enough to win. Those two styles are not comparable, they would have needed to be in a race, with a fair pace and full field to really find out who was the better horse. I think Zenyatta should get it this year, Rachel can show up in the Classic next year and prove that she too deserves it.

As I just posted Flashing is a 2 time G1 winner AFTER losing here to RA by 31 lengths!!! We didn't set the bar, RA set it herself. Actually she could have set it a little higher but was under wraps the final 16th. Zenwhatta?

every horse is 3yo at some point so winning triple crown races is a good way to seperate who is the best in that generation at the time. every horse is not a female at some point in time so sex restriction is a way of saying i cant handle the best horses in my generation but i can do better if half the horses cant compete.

as i said before the horse is not the problem. we had some real nice horses over the last 3 years, rags to riches, curlin, big brown, zarvaka, sea the stars, rachel alexandria and zenyatta never went to any of them. that is too consevative for me to be impressed. i for one wanted her to beat big brown. undefeated. so what? peppers pride went 19-0 why are you not talking about her. my point is with careful race selection its not that hard to do as you make it seem .

dont talk about time this is only the second bcc on plastic. the mare is somthing special her biggest weakness are her connections. she is just not fast enough to beat RA look at the times rachel does in races that the best horses traditonally run. she sets these fractions from the front. that takes alot of horse

Ok, let me get this straight, your whole point of being here is to say that RA is crap, or just that Zenyatta is better? If it's the former then you are out of your mind, if it's the latter then yes, the career records give Zenyatta the edge.

However, when it comes to 2009 HOY, RA is a bit more deserving than Zen, in my opinion, just as in your opinion Zen should get it.

I think RA is a great filly and she had a great year in 2009. Both she and Zen deserve to win HOTY. I've just had it with tons of RA fans trash talking Zenyatta so every now and then I try to get a few FACTS into the debate.
