@nicholsjoshua15 Hey screw you! Billy Joe Royal is every bit as good a performer. I see Billy about once a year, he plays a small honky tonk and puts on one hell of a show. I'm also a fan of Joe South, he is an excellent songwriter and singer. I don't know much about Tommy Roe, maybe he is the "faker" you're talking about.

Man, I sure wished that the three of them were back out doing this show. If that ever did happen I hope that Omaha, Nebraska on the list. I laugh each time I see this video I keep wondering where's Mr. South tux...LOL

Joe South, never understand why Mr. South did not go country in early 70's, The big three beretones Waylin, Cash and Ed Bruce showed how popular beretones were in Country Music. South could have lightened up his arragements and been a great country singer (I guess Joe is such a good guitar player he could not live with a three chord stummer).
