  • Without players like Giggs, football should be just a sport.

  • we must retire the number 11 shirt when Giggs retires...

NO ONE must wear it again.

thank you Ryan and please dont give up yet! x

  • For a legend like George Best to praise him (giggs) as the player that could replace himself (best) is hard to believe unless he has the quality of the legend or may be better. But for me wingers like valencia, ashley young, bebe, gabriel obertan, park jisung and cristiano ronaldo(even he won the player of the year for me ronaldo is not a real winger) does not have the quality and the playmaking skills like Ryan. The only player that have his quality is nani.

  • You don't have to be a Utd fan to know he's the best player the Premier League has had, the best role model and the most successful. Still going strong at 37, the legend just keeps on growing.

  • Thank you RYAN, for everything ! (bow)

  • thank you Ryan for all goals and all match

  • I dont think Ryan himself would want that, he would want there to be more players who'd follow in his footsteps and play their entire carreer for manchester United.

  • i know but hes the one i half grew up with and was the main man when things really started getting good....i think...was a while ago

  • after Cantona? lol Cantona was good and a personality but nothing more there have been many better number 7's in United history lol

  • @churchillxx1

I don't think so. Some said the same for Ole.

I think the number should go to another player who is worthy, when he retires. Give someone else a chance to make the number so meaningful.

Imagine if we'd retired it when Georgie Best left... then we'd never have had Giggs 11.

  • whatf if theyd said that after George Best had left, or if retire the #7 after cantona ?
