Golden in colour and pleasing to drink, it has a clean refreshing butter ball taste. Its very nice indeed but it's just not in the running for president. They say it's a modern ale from Britain's oldest brewers. Well they're certainly heading in the right direction. Keep up the stirling work.

  • Have you tried Oakleaf Brewery beer namely Hole Hearted - my favourite.

  • @jambolee7878 Another in the mountain of beer I have yet to try. Oh woe is me. It's a dirty job but someone's gotta do it.

  • Love your review! My wife and kids and I spent a month in Whitstable in '09. This was my favorite beer during our stay. We even did a Shepherd Neame Brewery tour in Faversham (highly recommend this). I can still taste the hops. I miss that taste in our beers. Inspires me to keep searching though. btw. we're from Calgary, Alberta, Can.

  • @gilcat100 For some reason your comments didn't show here until today. Then just like buses a load come at once. CHEERS MATE!!!

That brewery tour looks pretty good. I advise antone that appreciates good beer to do a tour or two. Some smaller breweries will even let you volunteer to help. Paid by the experience. Win win.

  • Never seen this where I live here in the states, unfortunately.

  • @KeithsBeerReviews That's a shame mate, as it's a gorgeous beer. I find that some beers are like a tour of Britain from the comfort of your own armchair. This IS Kent. A county that we call the garden of England. Certainly the hop garden. A quintessentially English beer that is delicately hopped to a symphony of harmonious flavours. BANGS SIDE OF HEAD! Sorry mate, I suddenly went into Wordsworth mode. LOL. Lovely Brit beer. Wished it came in pints though (568ml) instead of the Euro-stingy 500ml.

  • @CheeseBlackOps CHEERS MATE!

  • @sofakingdrunk66 Well I know people say don't mix drinks, but I never session just one beer. I always buy a variety. Hopefully including something new. But, bottom line... Yeah, at 4.5% it's not gonna sting and the taste ain't gonna get boring. In fact the taste will grow better with each sip (sorry, gulp).

  • Go TERRY

  • Bottom line now is it one for a session..Or a beer while you havin a sly one while the wifes in the shops? Iv got a bottle of this in cupboard..
