I just searched "Old Habits" song and discovered your cover,,, I'm absolutely floored!!! ,,,and my jaw is still dropped!!,, seriously. I'm a longtime Hank fan, and after the (pretty darn good) guitar lead-in was expecting a "decent" cover of this song at best, not the totally stunning and "completely in awe" singing gift that you have. Your voice gives me chills in a great way! I've never before hit 5 Stars, Favorite, & Subscribe so fast and consecutively in all my life!!! lol

Thank you so much, Mike. I'm still not much of a guitarist, but at the time I recorded this I'd only been playing for about 4 months and making due with what I had haha. I'm a longtime Hank fan, myself, but he doesn't have too very many tunes that I can cover since he sings so much about Texas women, women he's never had, gettin' all whiskey bent and the like. This one's a winner, though :). Thanks again.

Expanding on my previous comment, This girl's talent far exceeds much of what is coming out of Nashville these days! Sure they all sing good, but only a few can really express a song in such a way that it is believable. Like Roy Clark said (speaking of real country music) "It seeps into your soul. You bring it up from the inside". Ole JR. himself might get a litttle jealous if he heard Stacy sing this one!

Wow...I'm speechless. I expected a mediocre rendition at best. Your guitar playing isnt bad, but your voice is incredible. You should try American Idol. I hate to compare artists to other artists, but your voice has an old Dolly Parton vibe to it. You knocked this out of the park girl.
