Tornado rounds the curve at Dover - a really tight 'model railway' curve - before heading inland for Canterbury. As it gets to grip with the gradient there's a momentary slip (under the gantry) but a quick recovery. Nearing our destination we're held at a red - but soon lurch on to Canterbury East. As we head towards the city the train departs for Sittingbourne for servicing.
I was onboard this as well, although I got off early to visit the KESR. Excellent video.

Good filming Will on the South Eastern main line at Dover. Tornado slipped but it is a much more sure-footed engine than Tangmere or the Gresley Pacifics. I've got a great quote from a former Haymarket top-link man. "The A3's and A4's are the greyhounds of the stud. However, if I got 600 tons on a dirty night give me a Peppercorn".
Nice to hear the Peppercorn whistle at Sittingbourne. Barry
