Predator management in Alaska (aerial hunting of wolves and bear) started in 1971 because of a decision by the Alaskan DNR. Sarah Palin was 7 years old. What does she have to do with this? They have been doing it about every 2 to 6 years since 1971. Only so many permits are given out. It is a highly regulated wildlife management program. I love how some people on here say that wolves are wonderful animals they are not wonderful they are not as nice as they appear they are being put into places they shouldn't be if they went extinct from an area we have no right to put them back.
