In the last episode of Performance Upgrades, Gerry Piazza of GP Frame and Wheel told us we had bent forks and triple clamps. Many times these expensive components can be straightened. In order to do so, the parts need to be removed from the bike and shipped away. If your triple clamps were toast, you could get a set of Attack triples at http://sportbikewrench.com/ , the sponsors of this fine series by OnTheThrottle.

  • I lowsided my R1 recently, I feel like there is a notch when I go over bumps. What are some things I should look for after a 30mph low side?

  • @vaiosoft You need to get the front end up in the air and loosen the lower then upper triple clamps. Go to the onthethrottle web site and look for 2 clicks out 16. That shows you what to do step by step. Mirror what I do to Kristi's bike.
