  • The title of this video says that the USSR (Russian) President was "Dr Strangelove".

    That is not true.

In this wonderful movie, Dr Strangelove was a wheelchair-bound German scientist (also played by Peter Sellers) who after World War II was now on the American's side.

(It is a fact that after the war, America and Russia enlisted many German scientists who had worked for Hitler. They wanted their expertise in rocket science. Their brains helped America's space programme.)

  • Sorry for the confusion, Dr. Strangelove on the title was used as the title of the movie (easy to recognize and search for viewers), not the Dr. Strangelove. Thanks for your clarification.

  • funniest scene in movie history. Absolutely love it!

  • Peter Sellers is one of the best actors ever, not just a comedic actor. This, Dr. Strangelove is his best movie. This scene proves and reconfirms his amazing talent. It also helps if Kubrick is your director.

  • How does the guy playing the Russian ambassador keep a straight face during this scene. I couldn't keep from cracking up if my life depended on it.

  • but what about major kong?

  • he went and did a silly thing

  • Great I like this part here!

  • shto?

  • "OF COURSE I WANT TO TALK TO YOU. OF COURSE I LIKE TO SAY HELLO. NOT NOW!!!" LMAO

  • I love watching George C Scott`s reaction to the phone call. This is great.

  • 3:22 ah ah err uh mmm.

  • One of my favorite scenes ever! Sellers' speech patterns as the president, especially here, remind me of Gene Wilder.
