Rupert's Story

This is my brother's story. He suffered a severe head injury after a serious car accident in 1997. He is my inspiration for the eyes alight appeal as part of the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust. We hope to give people like Rupert something to smile about again, the chance to fulfil dreams and to literally light up faces. WOW, this really is inspiring!

I was in car crash back in 2005 and when i turn 18 in April & get £2300 in compensation from the crash, i just want you to know Most of it will be donated to this charity. I know how much it could change their lives for the better, even if it is just getting to take them to see the ballet for a day :D Its really moved me! Good luck with the project!

Rupert is an inspiration for anybody who has had a brain injury. Look how happy and smiley he is. He is proof that life can still be good after something so devasting.

And Izzy-you're incredible. This charity is amazing and will help so many people. You're such a lovely person and dedicating so much time to this charity, and getting it established and well known must be so difficult- you're doing really well with it.

izzy, this is truly beautiful and i sat in tears the whole time, you have moved me and to truly move someone takes a lot. Rupert is such an inspirtation, the fact that he keeps fighting and is always genuinley happy made something so devasting to watch slightly more bearable.
