Not many players are so composed, so good at tackling and passing the ball as Mikel. Only 23 years of age but a real pest for the opponent. He might not get 20 goals a season but he does an invaluable job for the team - although it is not as noticeable to everyone.

One reason chelsea has never used him as attacking mid is because he is black and 6"2. He is not a deffensive mid! He was one of the topscorer in norwegian league at 18! And had most assist!
