  • hey me again how much do u think i should save up for my crusie?

  • Of course that all depends on how much you drink. lol. But seriously $1000 spending money would be good. This does not include the costs of any day tours. You would spend this money on drinks, meals at the onboard steakhouse, cafes, etc, and souvenier buying at the 3 ports that you visit.

  • sweet thanks i was thinking around the $3000 mark including for the tours, when r u guy going on it again?

  • I am not likely to go on a cruise again, as I found out I get very seasick. The good news is that the tablets that they had on board fixed me up so I could eat again. lol.

  • if your on the pacific sun and want to book a room TAKE NOTE dont get the rooms rear of ship stay in middle or front because there is a bad smell that lingers at the rear of the ship smells like sewage

we had room U176 and it stunk!

also bring bottled water ! the water is treated and is also horrible to drink believe me on this one other than that it is a great ship with wonderful staff

ship smells at rear not everyday but every second day or so .....

  • I hadn't heard or experienced the bad smell problem. But I can totally agree about the recycled water, it is not something you want to be drinking. yuk. We bought bottled water at$3 a bottle on the ship, so it would have been cheaper to bring it onboard if we had of known..

  • On a 7 day cruise there are 2 "formal" nights. I didnt worry about packing any formal wear, as I am not into that unless I am getting married. So instead of going to the formal dinner, I went to one of the other restaurants. There iwas also a tropical dress up night. On the cruise I went on there were lots of kids, because it was school holidays. There was about 35 of the 12-16 agegroup that I could count.

  • I hope Twilight is on for you, but you should go and see it before you go just in case. The weather is always a hard one to tell. When we went there were strong gale force winds a couple of days before the day of departure, lashing the SE coast. but it turned out not to bad for the trip. It only rained a couple of days on my trip, one during a port stop in Port Villa. Even if it rains you will have a great time inside the ship. (dont call it a "boat").lol.
