These boyz from Leicester came down and introduced rocke 'n roll into my life but especially in my brother's life just like Elvis back in the the day but all of them ruled and I respected and I bought their albums including moon of love from werewolf in London 1982 ! Dave Bartram - the lead singer of the "Mighty Wads" - was a very good-looking, handsome man, back in '75 (and indeed he continued to be so for many years after that). In fact, I would even say that he was better looking than SOME of the guys in The B.C.R.'s! In retrospect, it puzzles me somewhat that Mr Bartram, with his classic 'pretty boy' looks - not to mention his fine singing voice - never became a 70's 'weenybopper' idol like [Les] McKeown, [Donny] Osmond or [David] Cassidy.
