These photos were taken in Poitiers (France). The idea was inspired by the Kieslowski trilogy of French movies of the same names. The song featuring in the movie is L'Alchimiste by Abd Al Malik.

I'm from Poitiers too, and I think only people from outside can show the city like you did.
The pics are really nice, and the song fantastic, it represents France today; the music is kinda classical, and at the same time, the way of singing is modern. Abd Al Malik is a very intersesting "singer" and Poitiers is a charming little city. Thank you again for your video. I would love to visit Australia at least once in my life, lol!

i am a brazilian and i lived in Poitiers when i was younger in the days of 93'94' I studied in Damien Allard. i lived the best time of my life in there and i love france! salut!

This is a fantastic video! Really Moving! I must say that my french is a bit rusty since I attended l'Universite de Poitiers back in 1987, so I didn't understand all that was said...but, the imagery and the tone is so passionate and original! Bon Travail & Cheers!

Merci beaucoup Kirstin, Poitiers is a beautiful little town isn't it. I must admit though, I don't understand all of the song I used either, but I really like it. Its by Abd Al Malik. See If you can find his album its really good.
