@progress2007 I think this happens when a cyclonic funnel and an anticyclonic funnel form at the same time under the same cloud.

thats a bowtie funnel. they're very rare, so i guess im lucky that i filmed one from my tree house

Crazy - you'd think it's physically impossible since the funnel is a channel that sucks up air - so how could two funnels every get together like that!

Did anyone hear a physical explanation for this?
