Dr. Diep explains the difference between Trichophytic incision and FUE to reduce scar visibility from previous hair transplant. He performs FUE and Trichophytic incision at his hair transplant clinics in Los Angeles, San Jose, San Francisco, Silicone Valley, San Diego, Sacramento, Walnut Creek, Bay Area and many cities in California. This video is about FUE to fix scar of Indian or Middle Eastern man. The idea of Trichophytic incision is to overlap one side over another when sulturing the donor area up, attempting to align the roots underneath the scar, hoping that the hair will grow through the scar. However, there are many reports of ingrown cyst and pimple from this method. Sometime, Trichophytic incision can worsen the scar width because scar tends to widen with more surgery. On the other hand, FUE means extracting hair one graft at a time all around the scar and then transplanting them into the scar after trimming the hair graft first. FUE is the best method to reduce the scar visibility by putting hair into the scar area. FUE is less invasive than the Trichophytic incision. The other benefit of FUE are: less pain, less bleeding, less chance of infection and no numbness.

  • That´s a perfect scar, you can´t almost see it. You should see the back of my neck, I have to wear a hat all the time or i scare the shit out of peoples. I don´t understand why the call it beauty surgery ?

  • @styverik FUE will leave not visible scar while the Strip scar is permanent for the rest of your life. You can have smaller scar using Trichophytic closure. However, not every surgeon can do Trichophytic the same way, which may lead to different results. The double layer Trichophytic closure is the newest technique, where you shave both edges, not just one edge. You can visit my website mhtaclinic or call 866-999-6482

  • @jgdiep So it's best to just do FUE from the beginning?

  • @rocaho001 Not everyone is a good candidate for FUE. Patients who have such advance hair loss that it is sometime better to go for the Strip method to reach your goal faster with cheaper price, but the downside is a linear scar which can be hidden with long hair. Some people do not mind having a scar if it is hidden, especially if they know that they will never shave their head.

  • @sabertooth7777 Hi, to loose hair is a f..in punishment from him above. Anyway, i regret the procedure i went through cause the result is worse than to be bald. And i made my transplant procedure on a well recommended clinic. Mail me on olsson102@gmail.com if you would like some picture, this is my crusade :)
