Agreed. Jay Wells was an excellent fighter. I used to watch the Kings growing up and for a long time he was the only "enforcer" the team had until they finally brought in Tiger, Larry Playfair, Dean Kennedy, Ken Baumgartner, etc. to give him some help
Wells does get the win here, but the funny thing is that he only actually lands 2 punches and Featherstone lands 2 as well....but Jays are harder. If you watch this fight on DVD or VCR and have TV quality footage, you'll see that Jay's punches are falling short. I love Jay Wells and put him in the top 10 most underrated fighter in NHL history.
