  • u know what? fuck the people of ireland...they are just 1% of the all european union population...so don't think they will consider that less than 0,25% said NO..grown up, cause this is just for facade...

  • rather 1% of the population of eu citizens than 27 members of the fat cat eu commission deciding for themselves!

  • Don't worry guys. I hit the bricks for the no campaign and we delivered a result. And what was key was the fact we organised early and we are well funded on the 'No' side. We can hold our own with the bullies and fascists in Bruxelles. We have had enough integration on my opinion. But if we are to go further, then there should be full disclosure of whats involved. At the moment the rest of Europe is being railroaded and are taking it like sheep..

  • absolutely, they will not openly tell the people of Europe what is in it and will only release it after everyone is signed up and there is no way back

  • Warm thanks to the Irish people for defending Liberty, yours and ours: from one really pissed off German that loves Europe and dispises the EU. The EU is reducing Europe to the level of Democracy of North Korea. Your constitution garantees choice. We in Germany don't even have a constitution, never mind ever being asked. Let's march on Brussels, raze the dump and hang the imperialist criminals. The Lisbon Treaty permits the death penalty, in times of war. And the EU declared war on Liberty.

  • it is called DEMOCRACY.what do you think we were the only country that had a chance to vote?..because the governments of the other eu countries know that their people would have voted no.Have you read the treaty. there is even a clause so countries can opt out/be removed from the eu.. which basically means do as we say or ur out. why should we vote for that. we spent 800 years and 10,000's of irish lives to get our freedom and ill be damed if ill hand it over to a bunch of arseholes in Brussels

  • @kingofcelts oops~ Iaccidentally gave you a vote down...not at all what I meant! The lisbon treaty , from what I have read was enough to make me want to spill my guts about these global noose ties called national security and international security. The state is beginning to show its true colors by showing the good people of the earth what can happen to the children of the world without a backup in the world 2protect innocent lives. And that a father must have sex with their own 3yr old is~!

  • france and holland also had the chance to vote, not just ireland:)

  • The EU has one problem - only the irish voters had the CHANCE to vote.

The others were denied this opportunity - their governments decided for them.

Personally, I would vote no because the small EU country I live in would be forced to acquire some rules which I will never accept, such as the clause to defend other countries in case of a terror attack §28 B, or the need to spend more on military equipment as written in $28 A

There are other points I disagree with, but I am not allowed to vote.
