Gamboa was taught by someone who no longer coaches him, manny masson. I can tell you that gary has alot of work to do on his in-fighting, he has quick jabs and hooks but on the inside he is too inactive, and there are issues these guys arent seeing. Its a shame because he has so much potential

I Like Gamboa but I have to see Gamboa in the ring with somebody technically sound. Gary is technically sound he has great timing ,and speed ring intelligence . Gamboa has fought a lot of brawlers nobody with a great jab. Skills pay the bills.

@OTKP it runs in the family. i sparred (completely out classed by) garys brother. i still cant comprehend the speed of those punches. and the brothers son (while not at fist as his old man or uncle) had some blazing hands completely picked apart this one guy sparred for 1 and 1/2 round b4 they had to stop it
