This video briefly shows a custom CNC'd lower swing arm for an HPI SAVAGE RC truck that I designed and cut a prototype of in 6061 billit aluminium. This heat treated alloy will be way tougher than any cast aluminium part I could buy at the local hobby store. Also shown is a custom drill jig to allow holding the new part in the vertical position to make the drilling of the necessary holes both accurate and repeatable. The jig was my first attempt at an inlay like this and I am very pleased so far! I will likely update this video once I finish the jig and drill the guide holes for drilling the arm itself. Thanks for watching my videos and please come back often

Cheers
Gerald
