  • Susan, do you think there are varying degrees of sociopathy? From people who are merely self centered to dangerous psychopaths. Difficult people have really deteriorated my quality of life. I have done well with getting rid of alot of these people that I thought were my "friends". But I got fired from a job because so many of the coworkers seemed to feel threatened by me including managers. Im tired of dealing with jealous people. I dont understand people who are always jealous of others.

  • Yes, there are varying degrees of difficult behaviors, however psychopaths make up a small percentage of the population. If you are constantly encountering jealous people, it might be helpful to meet with a counselor to examine what is attracting this type of personality into your life.

  • Today dealing with a difficult person in email had me decide to re-direct them straight into a "bit bucket". Maybe not optimal, but life is short. They aggravated me enough. You are right... a lesson can be learned, but prefer not to waste time with more learning from them. LOL!

  • camelot886 with that comment u just made urself one of the difficult people if u dont know the answer than ur at the right place cuz u need counseling

  • thanks for the video, though.

  • "What does the difficult person have to teach me?" I have no idea, if I knew that I probably wouldn't be watching this video!

  • That's lovely. Four minutes to teach a life lesson. I hope I am not being difficult! Lol

  • I agree, and I am thankful for this information. However, I have discovered also the ego, and it's implications. Everything is matter of perspective; consequently, difficult people tend to twist or create negativity around situations that don't really call for them. I have learned to stay calm and not allow myself to be absorbed by their negativity. Also, the concept of "self", and how it is projected on others and vice versa is an important component of this interaction. Be well Susan..

  • great stuff!

  • Great insight! Thank you for making the video! :)

  • Its because they dont like you!!! U have some good points, but the short story is that the only reason a person is difficult is that THEY DONT LIKE YOU. After U rule out things like they dont like the question or they dont want to work (a big one), the only thing to do is become a more likable person.

  • Good video but I disagree. The people I deal with are difficult beyond mankind. I do not see them as teachers but as demons more like parasites. I cannot resolve this because I am silenced by higher authority. Perhaps you were more toward difficult people like in families, but the people I deal with are complete opposites.
