Happy Birthday, Roberta Flack. She turns 75 today. Sadly, Donny Hathaway has long since left us. Singer Pink has said she is an enormous fan of his, even though she was born the year he died.

I recall slow dancing to this song with my girlfriend in the dark in my apartment when this song first came out in 1972. What a great time attached to a great memory of a better time with someone I really loved. At 59 I can only think of that time and remember the happiness that came with it and how it now seems like anther life time ago that this happened to me. Gee I hate growing old.
