  • you sould never actuate the ruder or move the elivator by the trim tab, it has been awile sence you flown hasint it

  • @kyCap222 If you are referring to 4:57 to 5:13 You will CLEARLY see that I raise the pitch elevator by grabbing the actual elevator to the left trim tab. I used my left hand and was moving it at the far left. I didn't move the rudder either. I was trained by F-18 pilots out of MCAS Miramar, San Diego California. Lastly, ...I fly weekly. I'm so, sorry freind but your comments are unfounded and you could really use an english spelling lesson before landing your rude and insulting comments.

  • Your shirt kinda matches the planes paint scheme haha. Nice

  • @therabbit0 Yes indeed! Its my own form of branding. I just hope I don't book the pink plane next time! Don't forget to check out my channel and real website at simsamurai-dot-net.

  • STALL HORN!!!

Man video is awesome idea, but why don't you just prepare your self for it little more professional? Where is a stall horn!?

What about standard procedure??? Step-by-step according to the checklist!

Thanks for video, wish you good luck with your flights!

  • I do use checklists..you probably didnt see it. I was also rushing a little. Trying to fit everything into a 10 minuter video while you have the flu isn't easy! - You acn see how swollen the left side of my face is. As far as the stall horn go's I did check it for debris. I don't like to suck on it :) -- See video #4 for proof that it works!

  • This is helpful thanks. Got a test on all pre-checks. I hate sucking on the stall horn too BUT too bad gotta do it lol

  • Rudder Jesus bolt. if it busts you're going to be saying oh Jesus. lol that cracked me up. Great video of the pre-flight inspection. btw

  • @iceKGAI @SimSamurai 2:21 i think iceKGAI's comment was refered to the position of the stall horn which, if I'm not wrong, it's the smaller hole placed in the middle of the left wing. However I think these videos are great, especially for those like me who have just start training ;) keep uploading video like this, thanks :)

  • i always keep my head away from the rudder...

  • nice video but at 2:22 did you say check stall horn?? stall horn is in the leading edge of the left wing above strut mounting

  • 2:56

  • Thanks for posting these Jeff. Good job!

These have helped me reinforce what I need to know for my preflight.

Ignore negative people on here. There's always people out there who want to make negative comments because they live in an enclosed little negative world.
