This performance of Hancock's classic "Eye of the Hurricane" is one of the best I've ever heard, almost better than the original lp version. . You can feel the whole interplay between these three giants is over the top and Cobham's solo is just somethin' else and brutal.

One of those really rare treasures on youtube ! Thanks for sharing.

It was July of 1987, in glorious Montreal....Witnessing the magic of both Billy Cobham and Ron Carter. I am yet to see Herbie Hancock. How insane would it be to see these 3 legends together.......WOW!!!!!!! Thanx for the amazing post; from Tim in Leamington, Canada.
