Ladies and Gents (mostly ladies as you don't seem to understand it),
It is as simple as the concept of Opportunity Cost (and the recognition of the choices). Men accept we are defined by our career; ergo our pocketbook.
Men accept we have to sacrifice family/family-time, a healthy social life and, if need be, delegate (at high cost sometimes) in order to accomplish our determined tasks. We accept this and other things then move on.
Women want to "wonder" and whine why they can't have it all.
