Tomb Raider 3 Area 51 Walkthrough Part 1

Part one of the Area 51 walkthrough, featuring the MP5 machine gun, the shotgun and the first of three secrets.

I won't be doing any of these as I don't own TR1, I completed TR4 but with great difficulty (therefore the walkthroughs wouldn't be particularly good!) and on TR5 I could never get past the first level (Streets of Rome or something). As a result after TR3 I may end up doing Legend or Underworld.

Unfortunately it's taking forever to come round due to windows movie maker crashing when I try to save it. However, I intend to record it using a camcorder and hopefully that will solve the problem!

Remember playing a TR3 demo on PS1 years ago, and it was this level, I remember getting to this part when you find (and go inside) a UFO

Am I the only one who gets this eerie "all alone" feel from the TR games? Similar to Half-life in that way

I remember the demo of this level. Came with a playstation magazine. Mustve played it 50 times over I loved it so much.

@m4rk90me If it's the demo, then yes. It should be different. The Area 51 in demo is slightly different from the one in the full game. But still, that's a pretty genius level design to look like a top secret US military base with the graphics in that era.

@Willy2537 strange, because the rest of the level is the same as in this video. i played a demo version for psx years ago where you begin the level like in high security compound, but when you exit from the prison cell the level continues like the level in this video. maybe it's a beta version of the map or something.

Tomb Raider 3 has great level designs, especially in Nevada. It's just beautiful, yet dangerous.
