**UPDATE 3-1-2011 I CAN HIT 5 SETS WITH 225 LBS, I NO LONGER FOCUS ON STRENGTH BUT BUILDING MASS BECAUSE IM ALREADY STRONG****UPDATE 1-11-2011, I can do very close to 2xBW with a spotter. Taking if off the rack takes a lot of energy away from me****Here is a video of me benching 225 lbs 1.7xbw (130 lbs) . I was not happy I could have hit more prob 5+ reps but could not find a *strong* spotter. Recently started training 3 days so I lost my regular spotter. Getting the bar off the rack takes a lot of energy away from me, as you can hear I moan a little getting the bar off the rack. Another thing is I don't like using the rails they throw me off, its not natural. The one thing that did come good out of this workout was I flat pressed the 95 lb dumbbells :D . When I can hit the 100s for a few reps ill add a video :) P.S I know people will say no benching in the squat rack. I don't warm up in the squat rack and usually when I go there there is no one around. I just hit my max effort set there for safety purposes if I cant find a spotter.
