Hamlet has just used the players to trick the king into showing guilt for the murder of Hamlet's father. Rosencrantz and Gildenstern come to deliver a message from Hamlet's mother. Hamlet and Horatio are great at Hot Cross Buns.

  • My favourite part! Love this so much! :)

    'VERY LIKE A WHALE!!' XD

It's just funny when Hamlet says 'I do beseech you!'. When I first saw this on TV I was in fits of giggles and then he attacked Guildenstern and I jumped so badly...

  • I love this. Humour and heartache in one place. Perfect Shakespeare.

  • it's like watching the doctor performing in some parts!!XD

  • Nobody does barefoot and crazy quite like this guy! "You're completely mad!" "You're right, I look daft in one shoe." *Throws away shoe* "Barefoot on the moon!"

  • Barefoot :-D

  • "mmmm with drink, sir?" He's brilliant.

  • what film is this...im trying to download it?

  • sometimes i think he plays 'crazy' a LITTLE too well...

I find that funny (even though it's true) because I'm a huge fan of the Tenth Doctor (he was MY Doctor) and I would just tune him out when he did his technobabble.

He has to be the only actor I've ever found that can make Shakespeare understandable and then make modern times completely senseless (in a very good way, though).

Yes, well, Tennant is very good at the crazy. :) You ever see Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire? Tennant was Barty Crouch Jr in there. Small world, huh?

But even in Doctor Who, Tennant had his insane parts. Sometimes I think he plays the crazy a bit too well...

  • @darkraven6966 Well, considering that the Doctor met Shakespeare shortly before Hamlet was written, maybe Will based the character off of him. :)

  • When Hamlet got angry David Tennant's Scottish accent showed. Great piece though.
