@cholodesanfe87 Wrong. Mitsubishi and Chrysler had a partnership for a long time, but neither owned the other. At the moment, Mitsubishi is all on their lonesome. The last real Mitsubishi-Chrysler collaborations that I can think of are the DSM cars (Eclipses, Talons, and Lasers).

no, it didn't blow up, it continues to run. i'm pretty sure 50 sum dyno/tune runs run longer than 5 minutes. there are thousands of ls based engines running on entirely stock engines with boost pumping ~600hp. said evo would make that crank snap right there, disintigrate pistons. i'd say 1k+hp mark on an ALL stock engine is pretty damn boost capable.

@lcurtizz wtf you should read what you just wrote, you said it made over 1000hp on stock motor but seals and pistons are pretty much blew in 5 mins....thats called your engine is blew on boost=cant handle boost

lsx based engines can handle boost like nothing! do some reading, CC did an article on how much boost they could throw at a 5.3, pushed out 1100hp on an engine dyno. all stock, rings were gapped. wouldn't last long, but it pushed it.
and then they found out it was actually a 4.8
