LMAO. You're right!! The Dems are no different on foreign policy. LBJ had his pointless war in Vietnam, Carter lured the USSR into Afghanistan by covertly aiding the Taliban-Mujahedeen (& then acted shocked & outraged when the USSR invaded Afghanistan). Clinton invaded Haiti. We're in a perpetual state of war, invading & bombing left & right on bogus premises.
I'm not sure why you thought that I'd defend the Dem Party on foreign policy. Their FP is just as crony as the GOP's.
@skyduster4 And Liberals have remained strangely silent on Libya. Shocking I know.
You see, the just wars are started by Democrats, the unjust wars by Republicans. If there's still any difficulty in determining which is which, be sure to keep mouth shut and follow blindly.
Bush had a Republican majority in Congress for 6 years. The Dems had the majority only in the final 2 years of the Bush years. The Afghan & Iraqi wars were approved by Congress in 2001 and 2003 respectively, when Congress was still Republican, but both parties overwhelmingly supported the wars. In public opinion polls, conservatives like yourself overwhelmingly supported both wars. Liberals supported the Afghan war, but not the Iraqi war.
Pittsburgh & Austin are far smaller than Chicago, Philly, & Detroit. You're comparing apples & oranges. Chicago's considered very clean for a city its size (compared to NYC, LA, DC, Philly, etc). Detroit's been dying a slow death since the 60s. Please educate yourself on urban matters.
Cities that are unknown outside their own countries (like Pitts & Austin) never win [summer] Olympic bids anyways. Atlanta was an exception.
So then, the argument that rich people create jobs by spending more money when you give them tax cuts doesn't hold true either, according to your logic.
@SGhockeychika4 oh and btw, Democrats gained power in 2006! That was only the last two years of his presidency? Get your facts straight before you write! The majority of Bush's presidency was controlled for his first 6 years by REPUBLICANS!!!
@SGhockeychika4 But we have Republicans who want to be in power again and will lie and scream to the people for their own political agenda. Then they blame Democrats for why our economy is suffering! Btw, 8 million people weren't out of work until the end of Bush's presidency, and that's why he plumeted to 22% approval. Now imagine entering a presidency with 700,000 jobs lost a month and 8 million out of work. Yeah, your approval rating wouldn't be that high either would they?
@SGhockeychika4 Look at all the other developed countries of the world. Germany had like 3 stimulus packages and now they're back on track while were still bitching about wat to do. Look at Canada! They are already out of their Recession too! And guess wat! They used a stimulus package too! The point being is that we need to spend to keep our economy going or people won't spend and we will shrink and lose our economic dominace in the world.
hahaha. dumb chicago hayseed rubes. you are flyover country. and you can't drive, cunts.

I wouldn't laugh at Brazil losing 200 in 2010, And a staggering 800 the year after from that natural disaster which transpired.
